Infectious diseases have increased due to the climate crisis and pose a serious public health threat. KUISCID organized a workshop on December 20, 2024 to discuss the current situation of West Nile Fever in Türkiye.
In the workshop, case reports were discussed with the participation of Kırklareli Provincial Health Director Dr. Çiğdem Cerit, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Health and Hygiene Director Dr. Mustafa Hakan Yılmaztürk and expert researchers on the subject. We will continue our discussion and surveillance studies to develop early diagnosis and treatment methods.
