Assoc. Prof. Mert Kuşkucu, Head of the KUISCID Virology Research, Selma Yalçın, one of the KUISCID researchers and Elif Neyligül Arslan, a graduate student presented two posters at the Virology Conference held in Greece this year by the European Association of Clinical Virology.
The first poster demonstrated the genetic structure of the recombinant Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) virus isolated in Türkiye, providing important epidemiological output. The second poster compared the performance of modern molecular methods for rapid, sensitive, and reliable detection of CCHF virus. These two studies are intended to contribute to both the molecular epidemiology of CCHF and the development of diagnostic processes.
