Medical students, under the supervision of KUISCID Director Prof. Önder Ergönül have published their study “Risk factors and preventive role of vaccination in adult tetanus fatality: a systematic review of reported cases (1990–2024) and meta-analysis” in the journal “International Journal of Infectious Diseases (IJID)”. The study addresses key risk factors for tetanus in adults and challenges in diagnosis as well as problems seen in management, despite widespread vaccination. Congratulations to our researchers.
