KUISCID researchers, who examined a case involving the Rothia kristinae pathogen in a female patient with a history of end-stage renal disease, stated that this pathogen can cause serious infections, especially in immune-suppressed patients. The study was published in the journal Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology (IDCM) with the title “A Rare Agent in Blood: Rothia kristinae”.
