Publication / April 1, 2025

The article titled “Predictors for Publication of Specialty Theses in the Field of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology” published by KUISCID researchers working in collaboration with Young Specialist Doctors (AGUH) Commission members revealed that a large portion of specialty theses prepared in the field of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology are not published in scientific journals. According to the research, the publication rate of theses is directly related to the academic experience of the advisors, the choice of subject, and the academic support provided. It is emphasized that the research culture should be encouraged, and thesis advisory processes should be strengthened in order to increase scientific productivity.
