KUISCID researchers examined hospital-acquired infection rates in Türkiye between 2014 and 2023 and reported the rate of infections related to medical devices used in intensive care units was 4.19%. The study emphasizes that hygiene measures should be strengthened, and healthcare personnel’s awareness should be increased to reduce hospital infections.
