We have successfully completed the course titled “Application of New Rapid Diagnostic and Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing Methods for Bloodstream Infections,” organized with the support of the European Society of Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) and KUISCID. In this intensive three-day program, approximately 60 participants from various European countries and 20 expert scientists participated both in theoretical and practical sessions on the application of antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
The course was coordinated by Specialist Dr. Yeşim Beşli, whereas Assoc. Prof. Onur Karatuna, KUISCID Advisory Board Member , and KUISCID Director Prof. Önder Ergönül were program coordinators. KUISCID Vice Director Prof. Füsun Can moderated different sessions and gave presentations throughout the program, while our researchers Assoc. Prof. Şiran Keske and Assoc. Prof. Selçuk Özger presented case reports. Dr. Bahar Madran and Dr. Cansel Vatansever gave presentations in the practical sessions. Congratulations to all participants.
