In the “Scientific Publishing” session held for the first time this year, KUISCID Director Prof. Önder Ergönül gave a speech titled “What is Expected from Authors?” and KUISCID Vice Director Prof. Füsun Can gave a speech titled “What is Expected from Referees?”. The session addressed the basic elements that should be considered during the preparation and evaluation of scientific articles with high attendance.
Assoc. Prof. Mert Kuşkucu and our postdoctoral researcher Dr. Cansel Vatansever gave speeches in the session “Microbiota, Infections and Antibiotic Resistance”. Assoc. Prof. Şiran Keske and Assist. Prof. Bahar Madran gave speeches in the session “Infection Control Committee in All Aspects”. Moreover, KUISCID researchers gave 3 oral presentations in the congress.
Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology Specialist Dr. Özlem Alhan was awarded with the best oral presentation award with her presentation “West-Nile Infection Outbreak in Türkiye”.
