The talk, hosted by the Suna Kıraç Library, explored topics including open access, open science, and scholarly communication. Prof. Ergönül discussed the impact of open access on scientific visibility, article processing charges (APCs) and predatory journals, the importance of data sharing during the pandemic, and the role of open science policies in international funding programs such as ERC and Horizon Europe.
