The 2025–2026 Academic Year Opening Lecture at SANKO University was delivered by KUISCID Director, Prof. Önder Ergönül.
In his speech “Small Steps on the Path of Science, Big Goals,” Prof. Ergönül emphasized the importance of continuity in scientific productivity, the significance of the relationship young physician candidates will build with science, and the role of determination in the academic journey. The opening lecture was followed with great interest by students and academics.
Following the program, Prof. Önder Ergönül was presented with a gift, a certificate of appreciation, and flowers by Feray Yılmaz, Deputy Mayor of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality; Zeki Konukoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of SANKO University; and Prof. Güner Dağlı, Rector of SANKO University.
